MemberDash 0.4.6 is a small release with one job: making sure a site running 0.4.3 can update and stay working. There are no changes to how memberships grant course access.
What was wrong
Between 0.4.3 and the new releases, the plugin’s main file changed name. WordPress remembers an active plugin by the path to that file, so when it was gone after an update, WordPress quietly deactivated the plugin. The update reported success, and course access stopped syncing.
0.4.6 puts the original main file back. Updating from 0.4.3 keeps MemberDash active and keeps your license key, and the plugin goes on receiving updates afterwards. The settings screen is under Settings > MemberDash, as before.
What this means for you
If you’re on 0.4.3, update straight to the latest version from Dashboard > Updates, or download it from the Downloads page in Tangible Cloud. After updating, check the Plugins page to confirm MemberDash is listed as active.
If you ever find MemberDash deactivated after an update, activate it again on the Plugins page. Your plans, rules and settings are stored in the database and are still there.
Also new to your site: the Resync button
0.4.6 is also the first release that brings the Resync button to your site. It was added during development under the 0.4.4 version number, but 0.4.4 never shipped as a build of its own.
On a LearnDash group that’s synced to a WooCommerce team, the group editor’s MemberSync Settings box now has a Resync button. It adds any members of the team who are missing from the group. Use it if a group falls out of step with its team, for example after members were added while syncing was interrupted. The team sync guide shows where to find it.
