Update: a Style tab on every widget in Lifter Elements 1.7.8

| henry

Lifter Elements 1.7.8 gives every widget a Style tab. Seventeen widgets that until now had only Content settings, so their look came from your theme or from custom CSS, can be styled from the Elementor panel like the rest. There are no new content controls, no behaviour changes, and no change to saved page settings.

The update is waiting under Dashboard > Updates if your license is active, or in Downloads on Tangible Cloud.

Which widgets

The Style tab is new on User Courses, User Memberships, Memberships List, User Certificates, User Achievements, Pricing Table, Course Syllabus, Course Reviews, Course Prerequisites, Login Form, Registration Form, Checkout, User Dashboard, Course Video, Lesson Video, Course Audio and Lesson Audio.

Each one opens into the sections you would expect for that widget: the card or list item, its title and text, its button or link, its form fields where it has them. The reference page for each widget in the docs lists its sections, so if you want to know what a given widget lets you style before you update, that is where to look.

Two widgets that already had style controls moved them to where everyone else keeps theirs. Course Outline’s Icons, List Items and Section Titles sections and the Lesson Complete Button’s Button States section were on the Content tab; they are now on the Style tab. Same controls, same saved values, so an existing page keeps its look.

One vocabulary

With a Style tab on every widget, the sections now use the same names everywhere. A Button section is called Button on every widget that has one, Typography is Typography, and so on, so what you learn styling one widget carries over to the next.
