MemberDash 0.3.1 is the biggest change to the plugin since it launched. Syncing now runs in the background.
Background processing
Until now, MemberDash did all of its work during the request that caused it. Change a plan’s courses, and every member on that plan was synced before the page finished loading. On a small site that’s fine. On a site with thousands of members it was slow, and could time out partway.
From 0.3.1, changes to membership plans, user memberships and team memberships are queued as background tasks and worked through in batches. Pages respond straight away, and large changes complete reliably however many members they touch. The batch size can be set on the Settings tab.
