Lifter Elements 1.7.3 is a performance release for large sites. If your host enforces a queryQuery Query is a term used to describe the act of selecting, inserting, or updating data in a database. In WordPress, queries are used to access data from your database. limit and you have seen slow or killed requests with Lifter Elements active, this is the release that addresses them. Nothing changes in what the widgets show or how you set them up.

What changed
The conditional-logic panel offers lists of courses, lessons, memberships and groups to pick from. Those lists were being built on every request, including front-end page views that never show the panel, with unbounded queriesQuery Query is a term used to describe the act of selecting, inserting, or updating data in a database. In WordPress, queries are used to access data from your database. across all four post types. On a large catalog that was enough to trip a host’s query limit. The lists are now built only when the Elementor editor loads.
Access-plan lookups had dead code that loaded the entire access-plan table on every call when resolving a course’s plans. On one page with the Access Plans widget we measured twelve whole-table queries in a single render. That code is gone.
Course, lesson, membership and plan lookups no longer bulk-prime post meta and term caches. On large catalogs that priming produced one oversized query that some hosts’ query limits reject, so it cost more than it saved.
For developers: the le-conditional-fields filter now fires only on Elementor editor initialisation, no longer on every request. If you hook it to add options to the conditional-logic panel, nothing changes for you; if you were relying on it running on the front end, it no longer does.

Release Date: 2026-08-22
- Conditional logic: build the editor’s condition field options only when the Elementor editor loads, instead of running unbounded course/lesson/membership/group queries on every request — fixes killed queries / slow requests on large sites behind host query limits
- Access plans: removed dead code that loaded the entire access-plan table on every call when resolving a course’s plans (measured: 12 whole-table queries in a single render of a page with the Access Plans widget)
- Course, lesson, membership and plan lookups no longer bulk-prime post meta and term caches, which on large catalogs produced a single very large query that some hosts’ query limits reject
- Developer note: the
le-conditional-fieldsfilter now fires only on Elementor editor initialization, no longer on every request
